Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed healthcare delivery systems worldwide. Telemedicine, which involves the use of information and communication technologies to provide healthcare services remotely, has emerged as a significant innovation in modern healthcare. The COVID-19 pandemic further accelerated the adoption of telemedicine, highlighting its potential to improve access to healthcare, reduce costs, and enhance patient outcomes. This study examines the impact of telemedicine on healthcare delivery and patient outcomes in the digital era. The paper explores the concept, evolution, benefits, challenges, and future prospects of telemedicine. Findings indicate that telemedicine improves healthcare accessibility, patient satisfaction, disease management, and healthcare efficiency while reducing travel time and healthcare costs. However, issues related to technological infrastructure, privacy concerns, regulatory frameworks, and digital literacy continue to pose challenges. The study concludes that telemedicine has become an essential component of contemporary healthcare systems and will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
