Abstract - Globalization has transformed the world into an interconnected network through advances in trade, technology, communication, education, and cultural exchange. Among the many outcomes of globalization, the rapid expansion of the English language has been one of the most significant. English has emerged as the dominant international language, serving as a medium of communication in business, science, technology, diplomacy, education, tourism, and digital media. Its widespread use has facilitated global cooperation, access to knowledge, and economic development. However, globalization has also raised concerns regarding linguistic diversity, cultural identity, and the dominance of English over local languages. This paper explores the relationship between globalization and the English language by examining its historical development, global spread, major influencing factors, benefits, challenges, and future prospects.
