Abstract

Abstract - Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) systems have become essential technologies for organizations seeking to transform large volumes of data into meaningful information for strategic and operational decision-making. A data warehouse serves as a centralized repository that integrates data from multiple internal and external sources, while Business Intelligence systems analyze, visualize, and present this data through reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. Together, they enable organizations to monitor performance, identify trends, optimize business processes, improve customer relationships, and support evidence-based decision-making. The rapid growth of Big Data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics has further enhanced the capabilities of modern data warehousing and BI systems. These technologies are widely applied in healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, education, government, and logistics. This paper discusses the concept, architecture, components, working process, applications, benefits, challenges, and future trends of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Systems.
